"No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a grand jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the militia, when in actual service in time of war or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."

I'm having trouble with " nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb"..
is that saying that you can't be tried for the same crime 2 times?

Im beginning to wonder if my husband is having an affair. monday to thursday he comes home from work, gets changed then goes straight to the gymn, Friday night he goes straight to the pub after works comes home 3 or 4 hours later then if he feels like it has his meal and goes back out till sometimes 3am. On a saturday round about 4 or 5 he goes to the pub again till about 8.30 or 9pm. usually if anybody phones ( and he is in)asking him to go out he doesnt hesitate and takes every opportunity to be out. If I say anything he says he's doing nothing wrong. Any advice please would be grateful.

i recently got 2 baby slider turtles... i have been feeding them turtle pellets and they have been enjoying eating them. However about 1 week ago one of the turtles stopped eating. I tried boiled lettuse and other foods but he is not eating at all and has become week and thin. He sits up on the log all day to bask and even all night. He keeps opening his mouth now and again as though he is trying very hard to breeth.
I keep the tank very clean.... what medicine can i use?

I recently joined a fitness center. We took him back to the vets to the nurse and she says it is not the right colour for a pulpal bleed or an abcess as there is no other symptom at all...

She is looking up anything else it could be as this is the first time they have seen anything like it. They are a well established vets... now Borris does also have pinky coloured neck hair and they think it could be just colouration of the enamel.. like we have yellowy enamel or milky coloured teeth?
Anyway - I have to keep brushing and every day check for other symptoms. No question really - I just wanted to update you all - thank you.

what ever happened to the days when men opened the door for woman? I really have no complaints when it comes to my boyfriend. He does it for me all the time. The car door, at the store, in and out of our home when we are together. Its so nice. What ever happened to men wanting to be gentlemen? Not all men fall into this "category," There are a select few still out there. I say, thank goodness there are. But if youre not and you want to impress a lady, open the door for her....it goes a long way. So...what ever happened to the days anyway?
