The kindergarten class had a homework assignment to find out about something exciting and relate it to the class the next day. When the time came for the little kids to give their reports, the teacher was calling on them one at a time. She was reluctant to call on little Johnny, knowing that he sometimes could be a bit crude. But, eventually, his turn came...

Little Johnny walked up to the front of he class and, with a piece of chalk, made a small white dot on the blackboard, then sat back down. Well,the teacher couldn't figure out what Johnny had in mind for his report on something exciting, so she asked him just what that was. "It's a period," reported Johnny.

"Well, I can see that," she said, "but what is so exciting about a period?"

"I don't know", said Johnny, "but, this morning, my sister said she missed one. Then Dad had a heart attack, Mom fainted, and the man next door shot himself."

Hey everyone my name is gaby and i want to get your guysand gals opinions. When my mom, sisters and i where down in mexico for a year my dad cheated on my mom and now she is with onother women my mom whent on and in one month she got a boyfriend which i hate and she is now pregnant. Two days ago, my class had a test. I got 16 out of 20 and a girl got the same grade with me. For a wrong communication i told my mother that she got 11 out of 20 and my mother told her mother about that. Then, that girl called me and asked me about that. I explained her about the misunderstanding and all was ok again. But i heard today that she doesn't like me at all and when i say her hi, she does the same thing, but then she says bad things about me and i feel bethrayed because i said sorry and i started to hate her. What can i do? I mean, she told that in every person and i feel embaraced.

I am unable to see my selected background image on my desktop. I can be seen it when windows is starting up, but then is covered up by a block colour (in my case its black), I had some spyware on my computer yesterday, which I think I have removed.
The background colour can be changed, but no images can be selected. - Under desktop properties the background selection is just greyed out and I cannot select any of the images.
Right clicking on an image and setting it as the background doesnt work either.
Does anyone know what the problem is?

The mother of my grandaughter is now keeping us from our grandaughter because she hates my son. She says he is a dead beat dad and shows no caring on his part. He does love my grandaughter but hates to deal with the Mother. She is afraid the if my grandaughter is visiting us my son will come over. How can I choose between my son or grandaughter? I love them both so much. When we ask to spend time with our grandaughter it has always just been for us, not my son. please tell me how to go on????

I started taking medicine for high cholesterol a month ago and just went back for a cholesterol retest. It was still high but had dropped quite a bit. Will it continue to go down on the doseage I'm on or does the medicine need to be adjusted? Is a month long enough to see the full effect of the medicine?

We just rescued a small dog from the pound. She seems to be part lab, part ridgeback, she weighs about 50 pounds. My problem is we have a pet rabbit who lives in our back yard, and is free. We also have 2 other dogs who have no problem with the bunny. This new one thinks the bunny is the enemy, and when she sees her she goes into full alert mode, and chases him whenever she can.

I've tried taking her out on her leash with a choke collar, and petting the bunny at the same time, and she seems fine with it, just sits there nicely. I pet her when I do it, and tell her good girl.

This seems to work at the moment, but then she'll spot him in the yard, and randomly take off after him.

He has ways to get out of the yard (and get back), and he has places to hide, but I don't like playing this cat and mouse game. I want the dog to learn, and i'm looking for ideas to help speed up the process.

I was at youth group, and we had an interesting discusion about when Jesus was at the temple talking to the priests and teachers. When his parents came all worried, Jesus said along the lines of "You should have known I was going to be at my fathers house.". Some people in the youth group said it sounded like Jesus was being a smart alic and he diobeyed God by disrespecting his parents. I am thinking about getting a 1007 Nissan Quest for our new family car. Currently I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima, but it dues not have the room we need. My husband is 6'6" tall and our little girl is going to be tall like him, I can just see it. She is taller then 3 year olds and she just hit 2 years old! So we need something with more room for us as well as a 2nd baby that we plan to have in about another year. And need to have the room for our 2 Large dogs as well if we ever have to bring them with us.
Any way. I am looking to get some input on the 2007 Nissan Quests.. From people who have driven them for more then a week. I like how they look and from what I can tell from my short little test ride in one, that it seems to have a good ride and handeling. But I would like to get someones input who has had one for at least a week if not more. Is it a good buy etc..... All help would be great! Since we needs something good that will last us for 10+ years.
