A morgan Horse for safety and sturdiness or a Tenesee Walker for show and pomp.
The temperment of a Morgan horse is sturdy and secure but a walker is showey and beautiful.
Depends more on the kid than the horse really?

there are too many variables - what discipline does she like/what are her goals in riding.
Good all-around horse = Quarter horse - 5 yrs old to 15
Again, it depends on what she wants to do...
