So I got braces about one month ago. My teeth has a gap in the two front teeth, and my canine teeth are up there like fangs. My dentist says he wants to get the gap fixed, then take care of the other two teeth. I have not overbite,crossbite,etc. I've heard a lot of people say when you frist get braces they hurt like hell. But so far, I've felt NO PAIN. Is this normal? My gap isn't that big, maybe the width of a quarter or a lil bigger. So how long does it take to close the gap off? I dont ind wearing braces, I just wnat this stupid gap to fix. I heard some people say 6-8 months, and some say one month, and I'm really confused. Can someone please give me links to useful sites? or give me a good answer.

i've been growing my hair since i was 9 (i'm now 13) and my hair is past my bottom. im wondering if i should donate my hair or sell it when i cut it . Hair goes for a lot of money(for hair like mine as much as $1000!) but a lot of people say i should donate it to locks of love, which would be a very noble thing to do. I could really use the money, but...
any suggestions?

I work for a pizza place as a deilvery driver. I'm 22 and in college, so it works for now. Anyway, a bad check was recently accepted by me on a delivery and now the owners are attempting to make me pay them back for that. Now, I have never signed anything agreeing to this. So first off I know they can't FORCE me to pay it. But unfortunately I live in a state where you can terminate anyone for any or no reason at all and I don't really want to resort to that. Anyway, a friend of mine and I were talking and she said that a bounced check is the companies responsibility and that they can use it as a tax write off and because they are required to have business insurance that they will get the money back one way or another without me having to pay it. She said to her it sounds like they're trying to screw me over. Anyone know about this? I would prefer documentation or something and I'm in Michigan. And I will reward the best answer with the best answer cause it's only fair to do so. Thanks!

isn't very loud at all.. like compared to dallas, heat, esp kings, en all those hot eastern teams when their crowds go nuts on about every single play en theyre always standing, not juss sitting en being quiet like the lakers' crowd, plus i noticed most other team's announcers are very enthusiastic fun en loud en they get the crowd into it and they scream into the mic and stuff... while the lakers announcer is very boring en tedious with no signs of emotion... why is that????

I've had this huge crush on this girl I've known for a few months lately and I try to talk to her as much as I can but she never seemed interested in a girlfriend kind of manner.
I talked to her a few minutes ago and she was upset...so I asked her what was wrong and she said 'guys' and was talking about how guys lead her on and then change their mind the next day. Also, how she is tired of being the third wheel when she goes out with her friend and her boyfriend...and how she feels lonely and hates being single. I just kept telling her to date good guys and how she was really pretty and smart...
I don't know if it's just me liking her and she has no interest whatsoever or what. If I tell her that I like her, I'm afraid she'd be freaked out...and I at least want her as a friend.

Girls are freaking confusing.

My garage door often, but not always, will not close at night. During the day, it works fine. But, at night, the door will close to within about 10 inches of the floor then reverse and re-open. The lights on the opener will then flash four times (its a Craftsman) as if there is something blocking its way. (The path is actually clear of obstructions.) Any thoughts? Thank.s

Do people honestly think the majority of liberals or conservatives are against US policies simply because they unpatriotic?

I sincerely believe that almost everyone wants America to be a country and thats why they choose to speak their mind about issues. Thus, it drives me to fury when I see posts that say, "libs hate our troops" or "Conservatives just want everyone to believe in Christianity."

How about a little more constructive criticism and a little less name calling?!?!

(yes, this question itself is lack of constructive critcisM, Im an exception to my own criticism)
