My husband deep fries a turkey every year and it has turned into a favorite around my house. I still bake one but the deep fried bird is the first to go. he injects it with some Cajun seasoning and drops it into the fryer and the whole neighborhood knows he at it again.

We are a bit non-traditional. We eat lasagna for thanksgiving dinner and Christmas eve and duck or quail for Christmas day dinner. I'm in charge of the twice baked potatoes and seasoned green beans-yum!

I'm not allowed to cook for the holidays. I SUCK at it. I am always in charge of plates and forks. A vegtable tray, A cheeseball, or bringing the pop or wine.

We have a traditional Ukrainian Christmas Eve supper, and my best dish is holubtsi (cabbage rolls). Well, my pyrohy (perogies) are awesome too.

My aunt makes the best broccoli souffle. It's creamy, it's cheesy, and it has the best breadcrumb top. She only makes it for Christmas and everyone always fights to get first dibs.
