My best friend has been dating this guy for only one month, he has only been broken up with his ex-fiance (which he was with for two years) for only 5 months.

He seems to like my friend alot, but to propose in less than two months, seems a little sudden, don't you think?

I left town for a week, to come home to find out he had proposed to her where we work at a bar, I don't know how serious he really was.

She is so excited, a mutual friend of ours, called him when we got home and asked him "are you getting married" his response was "who told you" and "well I proposed" that sounds a little doubtful to me, I don't want my friend to get hurt, should I tell her how I feel or should I just hope it all works out for them? I feel he is on the rebound, she beleives they are truely in love. Any advice would help.

she smokes in the bathroom. Every time I get up in the middle of the night, I accidentally bump into her ashtray and spill the ashes all over myself.

She does not sleep on her bed. Instead, she sleeps on the couch where I can hear her alarm clock go off. She snoozes it for about an hour or two until finally getting up!

How do I politely talk to her and say that this stuff is burdening me? I do not want to be mean because she is my mom, but I've had enough of it!

Hi, I have a 91 Jeep Wrangler (2.5l) with about 160k miles. The previous owner used it as a daily driver and as a "mudding" vehicle. It ran great the day I bought it, but recently white smoke started coming out of the exhaust. It’s most likely, coolant being burnt with the fuel. I think the cylinder head and gasket have been ruined from overheating.

I looked under the hood for the first time since I bought it and noticed that caked on dirt was in the coolant reservoir. The radiator was brownish inside – I’m unsure if this was mud or rust. I drained the radiator and mostly brown liquid came out. Once it dried out, there were little brown flakes on the inside top.

Should I get the engine replaced (expensive), or take a risk and just replace the cylinder head and gasket (cheap)? Also could the water pump have failed from rusty coolant circulating through it?

I'm a college student, so I’m looking for an affordable solution (nothing unnecessary). I've yet to see what the oil looks like.

was on the pill for 2 years, before taking it everyday started making me nauseous and extra crampy. i've been off of them for over a year. i've been considering going back on b/c, and i am aware of other non-oral options but i'm curious as to other women's opinions of them and how they liked or didn't like them.

I am 5'2". My bf usually spends 5 minutes or less on foreplay. Sex is new to me and I'm still quite tight. My bf's equipment is of average size. Please, only serious answers. This has been traumatic for me, as he wants to break-up because I can't accomodate him.

Let me put this kindly: anyone who believes that Donald Rumsfeld has done a "fantastic job" in Iraq is out of his mind. The fact that such a person is president of the United States is beyond disturbing. But then this is the man who told Michael Brown he was doing a "heckuva job." And, yes, our Iraq policy begins to look uncannily like the Katrina response.

The president, in other words, has just proved that he is utterly unhinged from reality, in a state of denial truly dangerous for the world. He needs an intervention. Think of this election as an intervention against a government in complete denial and capable of driving the West off a cliff. You can't merely abstain now. Bush just raised the stakes. And he must be stopped.

I had a male cat and adopted younger female cat this past spring. After an initial adjustment, they were getting along fine. They weren't great friends, but they weren't fighting either. Now inexplicably, the older male cat has been frequently hissing at the younger female cat for no apparent reason. He was on the losing end of a fight a week or two ago, but the female cat wasn't involved. How can I get him to revert to his old friendly self and hopefully make the two of them friends?
