I don't know about 1/3 of US Soldiers being greencard soldiers.. I think there is nothing wrong with it either..

However the difference between hispanic and Mexican is..

Hispanic is a skin color and origin, like if your from Mexico, Ecuador, Peru.. Etc etc etc

Mexican is a nationality... If your from Mexico you're a Mexican, or if Mexico is your home country or your very patriot to it. You know what I mean right?

(We are all the same race here, Human.)

im not sure if it is 1/3 but its a lot!
when you immigrate you have to fill out a selective service card if you are a male, and under 26. These very loyal soldiers swear alligence to our country and qualify for most of the benefits and citizenship when completing their service. More power to them- dont see any of us rushing off to sign up ( apologys to those of you that did)
Mexican- from Mexico, Hispanic- general term for anyone with spanish blood usually from a country that Spain colonized.

I don't know if 1/3 are green card soldiers. I do know alot aren't even US citizens. As far as hispanic or mexican; if that's true, who cares? It was their decision to join the military; so what if they're black, white, brown, etc.? It's their choice. Where I'm at there are quite alot of whites AND blacks and they're all treated equally.

I'm from Hilo and I know there are more Filiphinos and South Africa. Most Mexcans got to bars in TJ. Most really rich hispanics got to bars in downtown San DIego near Hourton Plaza. I like MI Pueblo.
