I just bought a new home and we had a lot of rain. I noticed a water stain on the ceiling in the bathroom. The warranty guy said that he will have the roofer come back to reseal the vents on the roof. (my house is not the only one that had this issue). They are sending out a sheetrock replacement person but when I asked about replacing the insulation that was wet he said the sheetrock person doesn't do that and they were not going to replace it. I told him that it needed to be replaced. I do NOT and I am sure there are others that don't want mold/mildew growing inside the walls. He proceeded to tell me that we don't have mildew in TX and that mold & mildew are not the same thing. I don't care about the difference between the two. I know neither one is good. I just want it replaced, you can tell that the insulation has been wet. I don't want problems in the future.

Hi, I'm seventeen and I've been called 'a strange girl' and 'weird' by my best guy friend who I adore, he isn't mean about it, he was just stating a fact about how eccentric I can be about things - but I'm wondering does he thinks it's a bad thing to be like that or do guys prefer a bit of freakiness?
Will being that way make him like me for being unusual or will he find me unattractive? (your opinion!)

I have a house bunny (Netherlands Dwarf). During winter, my room's Temperature ranges about 65°~70°F. Is my room too cold for her? When the temperature hits 60's she likes to sit in front of the oil heater in my room. Do I need to install a heater in her cage or is she fine in the temperature range mentioned above?

I started smoking at 22 stopped when I was pregnant and breast feeding then started back up again when I was no longer breast feeding. I have tried hypnosis(that was a laugh), nicotine gum, patch as well as using wellbutain(prescribed from my doctor). I want to quit totally this time. I want to be around to see my daughter grow up and get married and have babies. I can keep myself busy during the day to where I don't feel like I need to smoke. My problem is the night time. I wake up having muscle spams, sweats and irratibility that is through the roof. What can I do to help this process along without alienating everyone around me with my crappy attitude. I know I have the need...it's getting there that is killing me.

A long time ago there was a British Naval Captain who always wore a red coat during battle. One day one of his men asked why he did so. He said that he wore it so that if he were ever wounded then neither the enemy nor his men would know. Based on this same logic, to this day, French officers wear brown pants!

Be aware that the French government announced yesterday that it has
raised its terror alert level from RUN to HIDE.
The only two higher levels in France are Surrender and Collaborate.
The rise was precipitated by a recent fire that destroyed France's white
flag factory, effectively paralysing their military capability.
It's not only the French that are on a heightened level of alert,
The Italians have increased their alert level from "shout loudly and
excitedly" to "elaborate military posturing". Two more levels remain,
"ineffective combat operations" and "change sides".
The Germans also increased their alert state from "disdainful arrogance"
to "dress in uniform and sing marching songs". They have two higher
levels, "invade a neighbour" and "lose".
Seeing this reaction in continental Europe the Americans have gone from
"isolationism" to "find somewhere else in the middle east ripe for
regime change". Their remaining higher alert states are "take on the
world" and "ask the British for help".
Finally here in GB we've gone from "pretend nothing's happening"
To "make another cup of tea".
