Every Friday of Saturday evening my son and I hit the town. We leave mommy at home to relax and we go to Chapters. It's a chain of bookstores here in Canada and in it there are usually a Starbucks coffee. My son it 7 years old and when we sit down and have a tea and cookies he will attract the attention of a woman. On two occasions I got to talking with two different women and when I mentioned that my wife was at home chilling out that quickly ended the conversation and went back to reading. I wasn't hitting on them because I'm very happy with my wife but why end a conversation abruptly because I'm married?

My wife says it's because women like a man that is good with children and when they find out I'm married they lose interest. Is she right?

If you had a dagger and a long sword with the same attack strength, which would be more effective or are they equivalent. Intuitively, the long sword would have a larger effective distance but do you think the game considers this or are they equal? Thanks.

My tank has been set up for 4 months.... the nitrite, nitrate and ammonia are very low and all other contitions are ideal.... for some reason I have many white dots in the water, covering all the water.....

Its 29gal, I have a few plants and about 15 fish 2" or less....

What could that be?

My husband and I fought this morning. Just yelling, about nothing important. He became physical. The was the first time. We have been married for over a year. I hit him more than he hit me and with more force (instinct). Am I an abuser, is he? If it is not something that typically happens, does this mean we can reverse our behaviour or do you think it will only get worse. Neither of us have history of violence and we are in our mid 20's and both have had 5 year long relationships prior to being with eachother.

What exactly can you USE the miles for? Can you use them towards another flight. Let's say I have 5000 miles, just throwing out a number, & I want to fly from California to Texas could I use those miles and get a cheaper flight? Or how does that work?

Since most of the days of the week and the months of the year are named after various Germanic and Roman Gods, why did the Christians and Jews adopt the calendar and essentially bless it when Pope Gregory XIII decreed its use?

According to the the 10 commandments int he Old Testament, Christians and Jews are not supposed to worship or recognize the existence of any other God, but the One true God. By naming days and months after other Gods, is this not a form of idol worship by granting these Gods positions of honor in our society?

Can anyone offer a rational explanation for why religious leaders do not seem to hold themselves accountable to the same laws they impose on others?
