He's just a dumb*** you need to move on and forget about him. Hes not worth being around you and the baby, If he is not going to put his act together then you have no luck of being with him even for the sake of the baby. Just find someone else that is willing to take care of you and the baby, and love you for who you are and want whats best for you and your baby. Good Luck

I delt with a similar situation, and the thing would be to be civil with him when he gets out (especially if you want him in your childs life, as a father) I mean, you have to look whats best for you too. You are pregnant, at this time you don't need any stress on your or your unborn baby, and he has been treating YOU like crap lately. Thats unnecessary for you to deal w/ right now, you should worry about taking care of yourself and your child. Then when he gets out, let him know you want him in the baby's life..but as for your relationship with someone that is treating you crappy and going to jail...ask yourself the question...Do I deserve this? and Can I do better? A lot of the times people are set in their ways and the time you try making things work and changing him, you are drained and hurt in the end. Look out for yourself and your child! Good Luck!!!

Let's see ... you are pregnant with his child ... and he either avoids you or treats you badly and on top of that he is now in jail.
He sounds like such a wonderful man. I can see why (for your baby's sake of course) you would want to work things out with him. That way you and your baby can both look forward to a lifetime of being treated like dirt!
Do you really need to think about this?

It's unfortunate you are bringing a child into this situation- either way you know that having your child's father being in and out of jail thats obviously not a good influence...I would distance yourself away from him- you can find better! If legally he needs to be with the child monitor the visits! I just know that if I was in this situation I would rather be a single mother then have the child be in a bad situation!

If you think you CAN work it out, I'd give it a shot. You know it's not easy to raise a kid on your own. It would be better if he was there to help. Just make sure to ask yourself if you truly believe the relationship can work. If you don't, leave him ASAP.

I think you should try and meet new people that will accept you and your baby. Also be strong for you and your baby.
