Why do some states prioritize security over human rights? Could
the cases being studied reflect the debate between the importance
of human rights and security? In what ways did the reports of
Amnesty International reflect this debate? What are the major points
of both sides?

A set of conjoined twins was delivered yesterday in Vancouver Canada. Parents named them Krista and Tatiana. They are connected at the head and share portions of their brains which will make separation hard if not impossible.

It's a tough decision, but would you carry to term knowing you were carrying siamese twins, especially when there was small chance of their being separated?

I am organising a private firework party for next saturday, should I invite those kids and families who are less fortunate than myself ie not going to a display or bonfire, bearing in mind the laws for under18 possession/carrying of fireworks in public places and the potential for lax sensibility ie parents letting their offspring light and/or misuse fireworks? Some parents let their kids let off and misuse fireworks at private parties and if you try to stop them because things get out of hand/dangerous these lax parents step in and do-good for their kids saying "it's alright leave them alone they're only having fun."?

My highschool sweetheart finally found me after 13 years. He wrote a letter to me and sent it to my parents home, revealing to me that he still loved me. The thing is, he is in prison. He's only there for a year, for counterfeit money production. I was curious and decided to write back, and now I think I'm falling for him all over again. And before you answer, realize that I know I should run for the hills and not look back. But the more we talk, the more I realize that he loves me and he needs some type of structure in his life, whether it's as a friend or girlfriend. I'm not one of these naive women desperate to get a boyfriend or husband. I guess what I need to know is what's the best course of action when it comes to building a relationship with a man who clearly made this one mistake in life. Should I pursue it or should I just be there for him as a friend?

We own a family run auto repair shop in the Midwest that has been in business for over ten years, successfully. This year however, has proven itself to be quite a challenge. The parts stores near us claim it has been their worst year also.

I'm just curious if anyone else in the industry has had a bad year.

Using the reports of Amnesty International, could the United
States be liable for criminal activities? Could the decision of the
US not to sign the treaty protecting her soldiers from criminal
prosecution for crimes committed be considered as strengthening of sovereignty?
In what ways could, if ever the US sign the treaty, threaten the
sovereignty of the US?
