California Traffic - 405N fwy alternate route?

Hi..Can anyone in Southern California tell me if there is an alternate route to Santa Monica in the morning, during rush hour traffice, other than taking the 405 N FWY or Sepulveda Blvd? I need to get to Santa Monica, (Cloverfield) and to Culver City (Jefferson Blvd) in less than 2 hrs. Please let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks!

It would be nice to know where you were coming from.....
Assuming it is the Valley, you can come over Topanga Canyon, although that is pretty heavily traveled also.
