I can. My mother's Swedish and my father British, I lived in the US for eleven years, the UK for three years and Sweden for 28 years and I had a Colombian boyfriend for six years, whose family spoke only Spanish, plus studied Spanish in both high school and college and travelled extensively in Peru. I know some French, Italian, Dutch and German, too, and understand Danish and Norwegian - do I get a cookie? *grins*

I know a girl. I don't know how good her Spanish is, but she's a native speaker of Swedish, and her English is incredible. As I recall, she also speaks German and probably a couple more languages. She's phenomenal!
