I heard an advertisement on the radio a couple of hours ago in which they referred to the car they were trying to sell as "sexy". This is something they've done for a long time, and frankly, I don't understand it. How can 2,000 pounds of steel, plastic and glass be sexy? If you ask me, it's ridiculous! Any reactions to this?

The ram is ok, it's the correct type for my MB and they are fitted carefully. XP boots up fine, but I get all sorts of errors when running things, and sometimes it just reboots!

I have an ABIT AS8-V with 2x 512k 400hz DDR (pc3200) ram - errors when I added 2 more of the same type of ram.

I'm looking for a reconditioned pc for my mother-in-law for christmas. She has a good keyboard and monitor so just need the base unit. She wants to get on the internet for the first time and to do some basic word processing so she won't need anything too flashy but one with a good warranty would be ideal. If anyone out there knows of any good places to look let me know!

I met some English army reservists who are training at Fort Hood in the United States, and they were telling me some prety depressing things, like that the flag of England cannot be flown on public buildings anymore because it is offensive to Muslims who associate it with the Crusades. Is this true? And if so, how can you stand for such madness?
