in our country just boys kiss boys(a usual and friendly one)and girls kiss girls.but a girl never kisses aboy before they get married.

i m glad i m not from there !!!!!!! in Portugal , girls kiss girls ( in the cheek = social kiss ) and boys kiss girls . boys don t kiss boys unless they family or gay boys ...

well two of the countries I come from ( Hong Kong + New Zealand ), people don't really kiss each other just to be friendly. They do , however , kiss if they're going out - regardless of what gender they are , they can have a sexual relationship before marriage.
But the other country I come form ( Italy) girls kiss girls and guys kiss guys on the cheek , informally ,as a way of being friendly . But guys and girls also kiss each other that way even if they're just friends . If they are going out , as in boyfriends , girlfriends , they kiss each other on the mouth . A lot .

A cultural thing may be? and culture and custom are so diverse in the world. In some countries it is perfect to hug a brother or male relative and friends while the same would be looked at in other countries imputing some other kind of relationship. In some countries kissing the hand of a girl or a lady may be acceptable social behaviour while in other places it is never done. Cultural studies are interesting due to their diversity and symbolism.

Every country has it's cultures. In our country these days, it seems that boys kiss the girls at a very early age, and usually have sex BEFORE they get married! I wish morals were taught to our children knowing sex is something very personal, private, and should not be as public as it is. Kids do not understand the maturity or emotional ties that should be associated with sex, nor do they even care about the risk of the wide spread of STD (sexual transmitted diseases), especially AIDS!

It's a cultural thing. In my culture, guys kissing guys (on lips) is pretty much assumed to be a homosexual relationship. Girls kissing girls is only slightly less thought so. Personally, I could never do a liplock with any male..but I would kiss my dad, my brother, etc. on the cheek or forehead as a sign of deep affection for them.
