People who behave in that manner have insecurity/inferiority complexes. She obviously feels threatened or less of a person by you. It is a pity.

You are handling it correctly. Simply disregard her attempts. They don't merit any reaction at all. Believe it or not, eventually she will just stop because you are just not interested enough to even react. If you react, then you lend creedance to her allegations and give her more fuel to continue.

She has no bearing on the rest of your life. And will probably be right back out of your partner's best friend's life in the future. So, as long as you and your partner know what she is up to, no one else matters.

Explain how you feel to your BF. You should not have to tolerate this in your own home. If you see this couple elsewhere, you should be polite, but you don't have to put up with her crap either.
If you're comfortable doing so, tell the girl you don't appreciate her negativity or critical comments.
Or be a bit more subtle and less confrontational and try "I haven't got the time/energy/karma to think so negatively about people."
Last resort, Just excuse yourself as soon as she makes a remark and leave the situation. It may take a couple of times for her to get the message because she sounds kinda insensitive, but she'll get it sooner or later. She may not care if you leave, and may remark about it too, but if this is how she wants to behave, who needs her?
Your BF should support you on whatever you decide to do. I know its his friend's GF, but you should be more important to him.
Good luck!
