In my biology class, my teacher gave us a wkst and it talks about how you can compare a bird's beak to a human tool according to the way the beak is used. It gives me six options, but I dont know which one it is, since I cant find anything on the internet about HOW a cardinal uses its beak to eat. Is it's beak most like:
a) a nutcracker
b) a meat knife
c) a soda straw
d) a strainer
e) an awl (tool used for puncturing)
f) a scoop

we're learning functions in my C++ class, he's given us function main, we're to write sub-functions that'll complete the task libraries are just iostream. I need to return a value to be stored in the variable userInput, but i can't think of a way to do that without modifying the function main (which i'm not allowed to do) or adding a global variable(which i'm not allowed to do) I don't need the code, just a hint (sorry yahoo answers removes my spacing before my code)

As of the last 6 months him and I have gone thru a particularly rough spot in our relationship (in April, I found out that around this time-October- of last year while we were still together, he started talking to other girls...and not about coming over to play scrabble if you get my drift) Now that that time of year is approaching again and bad memories are coming back, I feel myself drifting farther away from him. I don't want to break up with him for fear of making a mistake (not to mention fear of being alone since I only have one other good friend) and as selfish as it sounds, fear of having to move back in with Mom and Dad (to me, a better choice would be living in my car). What should I do? I've thought about breaking up with him and then (to combat my living with parents gripe) transferring to an out of town college full-time or taking a break from school and obtaining a full-time job that would allow me to have my own place...What's a girl to do?

How do I get women to love me? It seems that I dont stir enough emotions in them to get them in love with me. I have a string of one night stands and short relationships. They usually quit me. When I was younger---in my teens and early 20's---I would do the dumping. But now women just want me for a night or a few dates and thats it they dump me.
I have nice body, very nice smile, fresh breath, nice stylish clothes, smell good, average size penis 6 inches, nice looking face. I look like hugh grant. I'm handsome guy. But is it your looks that makes women get "into" you??
I admit I am narcisstic and aloof sometimes. I come off self centered. But I dont think that is the reason women dont like me.

So how do I get women "into" me and keep them coming back for more?? What turns them on and off?

OK, Me and my husband have been married for almost three years. Come to find out 6 months after we were married he had an addiction to chatting. He was paying money for it that he said we did not have. Then about 6 months ago when he was working out of state I found out he was chatting again. (and paying for it when he wouldn't even send money for diapers for our daughter) I found some emails that featured things like (thats saounds fun, but I don't know the area how will I find you. Also emails to a friend he had in high school, telling her they should have dated and he would "practice" having kids with her everyday. And he has only met two perfect women her being one and me not being the other. Also him saying he tryed to cheat on me but couldn't. he said it was because he didn't email them back. He never shows me affection of any kind. I moved 1600 miles for him. There is so much more. Should I believe him? Should I leave him? I just want what is right for my daughter.

My 6 yr old daughter was diagnoised with type 1` (insulin dependant) diabetis in Dec of 05. This holiday is all about candy. I can see her getting really frustrated that she can't eat the candy. I bought small bags of pretzles to pass out so she won't be upset that I have candy. Does anyone have any suggestions, so she won't feel bad but can still have fun??

i remember when we were kids on halloween one year a group of us went to the local cemetary, in the middle is a mausoleim and we were going to knock on the door, when we got about twenty feet from the door all of our flashlights went out, we all took off running and the strange thing was none of our flashlights we were using ever worked again! we changed the batterys, bulbs etc. and nothing! it was wierd!
