Genre:
Chillout/ lounge, such as Fashion Week and the Buddha Bar series.
DJs:
Baby Anne; DJ Rap; Sandra Collins; Paul Oakenfold (the DJ, not the producer!).
Female artiste:
Kate Bush. She is the muse incarnate. Enough said.
Male artiste:
David Bowie. Possibly the greatest rock icon alive. Very few solo artistes have influenced the face of rock music like Bowie had done.

I like all kinds of music, but I think my favorite (musical) artist of all time is Adam Duritz of Counting Crows.
I guess he might be considered the King of Emo, but there's something about his soulful voice that really gets to me.

i do sing in a band (tho' im already past forty)until now, im more in ballad and blues, rock and roll music for alternative and making the audience alive. oh there were so many artist from 60's to present. i like aretha franklin, johnny mathis, patty page, linda rondstadt, carpenters, beegees,celine dion, carol king,mariah carey, and of course elvis presley. to top them all, aretha franklin is the best, the soul/blues diva. a salute to all artist, theyre all champions on their own field of singing.

Hard Rock/Heavy Metal all the way.
1960's to the present.
Favorite artist? Hmmm....Well, the band that got me hooked on hard rock/heavy metal was Steppenwolf, so I guess that's my personal favorite.
