I am very happy to have seen Carlos Delgado win the Roberto Clemente award. Delgado's record as a baseball player and service to the community is well appreciated.

It's always nice to see someone who is genuine and sincere make the headlines and receive recognition and not some millionaire cry-baby ballplayer whining about why he got arrested outside of some saloon.

Good work, Carlos...

To be honest, I am a Delgado fan. However, anyone just mentioned for the award deserves great praise. Keep up the good work and more people will live better lives.

I was very happy to see that Carlos Delgado won it. As a lifelong Mets fan, we've had a lot of morons in the past (Vince Coleman, Bobby Bonilla, Bret Saberhagen, etc...) and it was good to see one of our players giving so much of his time and effort to charity. Delgado is certainly a very good-hearted person worthy of this award.
