I was wondering if anyone knew a way to deal with anxiety on your own. Maybe some self help technique's. I dont really want to take the medicine they give me, because im very afraid of side effects. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Maybe a story of your battle with anxiety. Thank You

I had an ex boyfriend who was like totally crazy, what does this sound like to you? He always had extreme mood swings. One time his friend was joking around with him and he whipped a full bottle of soda at his head for no reason. He was a compulsive cleaner, however nbot a very good one. We'd hang out in his garage and he'd freak out and start vacuuming things with his shop vac and like throw stuff everywhere it was really weird like hed do it right in the middle of a party.! When som,eone would beat him in a videogame hed want to fight them,mind u this kid is like 20! whats up with him?

I am curious to see what the general opinion is on the pine tar contorversy with the Detroit pitcher from game two of the world series. Do you think this is what it was on his hand and was the appropriate action taken? Would you say that he really cheated? Did Tony LaRussa make the right call by not loudly objecting to the player being left in the game? Many are saying that this will honestly make it a fair series by leaving him in. Before abortions were legal and available in clinics, women were often forced to seek illegal abortions in unsafe, unsanitary conditions. Instruments like clothes hangers and lye douches(!) were sometimes used. Often not only would the fetuses die, but the mothers would, as well. Some may argue that these women brought the situation upon themselves, but sometimes these women were rape victims. Sometimes they were frightened, confused teenagers who were afraid of telling their parents they were pregnant. Sometimes these women were single and lived in a time and place in which single motherhood was frowned upon. The situations vary. But either way, doesn't it make more sense to pass legislation that would at least protect the health and safety of the women who seek abortions, rather than allowing not only the fetuses, but also their mothers, to die?

Everyone seems to talk about philosophy as if it is some sort of old worn out rag.
I personally believe that life itself is philosophy. Everything that a individual or group believes is their philosophy and what we believe defines who we are. Philosophy is everywhere.
All businesses, schools, religions, and countries revolve around their own philosophy. Even all our sciences and matematics started with philosophy.
What do you think?

I have a Win2003 Server network using domain, dhcp, active dir, with linksys 18 port 10/100 switch and a dozen winxp pro clients. There is a huge network slowdown around 5 pm causing freezes and slowdowns and occasionally crashes. It doesn't seem to be related to any software we're running as different people use different software. All machines are patched and updated, have top of the line components, and are relatively new. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I waited 1 hr. 15 min. to get tires put on my car when They finally told me they were out of my particular tire. I have been taking Effexor Xr for several months and I have no sexual desire and it's causing probs for me and hubby. I assume this side effect won't be going away. Also, how do you feel on Effexor XR............. does anyone feel energized or motivated at all? I kinda feel like i have a heavy weight that is sitting on top of my head.
