6 semester hours are just that, 6 hours, generally a four year degree is anywhere from 120 to 138 semester hours. As Gpa goes, it depends on what kind of scale you are on. on the 4.0 scale. a 4.0 is an "A" 3.0 is a "B" 2.0 is a "C" 1.0 is a "D" and 0 is an "F" Hope it's a help.

No. There are two semesters in an academic year, and each class (although this is beginning to vary) generally meets for 3 hours/week over the course of a semester. A traditional academic year consists of 30 semester hours (10 courses), so 6 semester hours would usually be 20% of a year, or 2 semester-long courses.

6 semester hours usually turns into 6 credit hours. Most universities turn hours into credits. For example: If a class met 3 hours a week and met every week for a semester you have earned 3 credits upon completion of the class. Some universities do offer the same class for different credit amounts. It is all dependent upon the university and the easiest way to figure it all out is to talk to the registrations office of the university you are planning to attend.
