Considering everything is now as it always has been, and we woke up tomorrow to news that evidence has been found that proves without any doubt that god has never existed, how many of you would immediately become rapists, murders, theives, etc...

Some of you claim without god there is no basis for morality, what is your stance?

Many Protestants teach this doctrine, but WHERE does the Bible teach that we are justified by “faith alone” ?

Yes. Faith IS required... BUT faith ALONE?

It appears that the only place in Scripture where the phrase “faith alone” appears is in James where it is negated (preceded by "not").

"See how a person is justified by works and NOT by faith alone." (James 2:24)

The doctrine we DO get from the Bible is that faith AND works have to go together. Not one separated from the other.

"Do you want proof, you ignoramus, that faith without works is useless?" (James 2:20)

Faith without the works is useless and good deeds without faith are useless. This is what the Catholic Church teaches.

Do you think "Sola Fide" or "Faith Alone" is an unbiblical man-made doctrine?

so many people say truely romantic strong things about the person they love, am I just a cold hearted ***** because I would only die for my children, that's it, end of.
People say such beautiful things on here about there partners and how they know they are in love, like it hits them in the face.

I am a very good partner and love my other half very much. But all that other stuff, I dont grasp. We have a good sex life and we have lots in common, we live and work together very well and have two amazing children. But Ive never felt such strong emotional feelings for anybody other than my children.

I have had only two loving relationships in my life, one of them being my partner now, both have abused my trust so to speak, my partner now has shown very much that he regretted it and has worked hard to try to put things right and behind us.
I wonder if this is the reason why I dont allow myself to have such strong needful feelings like other people have with . Or I'm just cold hearted

Yeah, I'm talking about those PETA extremists, the ones that stare you down at O' Charlie's over their soymilk and salads because you just ordered some chicken tenders.

I mean, I don't like the thought of me going out and shooting cute fuzzy things myself, but I really don't mind if other people do it. It keeps the animal population down. As long as the people shooting it eat the animal, why not? Also, people have eaten meat for as long as we have lived. Og clubbed a mammoth and ate it. Why shouldn't John shoot a deer and eat it? One hundred out of millions isn't going to do anything.

Also, as mentioned above, why do people get so upset over other people eating meat? It's just like religions for me; I respect them as long as they don't force it on me.

Cows, chicken, and other animals that we usually eat are raised just for it- I'm pretty darned sure that they won't go extinct.

So... why do they do so, and have you ever had an experience like this?

They say they believe in Jesus, but its a lie


They dont believe he was the son of God

They dont believe he rose from the dead

They dont believe he died for our sins,

Because they dont believe he died at all,


You see the lie, why would they even say they believe in him, because Islam is a religion of propaganda, like you will have 77 Virgins if you die for Mohammed


Also they claim to worship the same God as we do, yet they bow to a stone 5 times a day, this is clearly against God, I wear a cross but do I worship it? NOOO its only a sign of rememberance, But Muslims bow to their stone and kiss it and rub it, WORSHIP IT

I do everything for my boyfriend. I just wont let him treat me likeg im nothing an when he does ill nag at him an he hates it. when we first got together 1 year ago he said hell never let me go because 6 years ago we lost eachother, but the other day we were talking kinda mad an he said i dont care i dont wanna stay with one peson the rest of my life. i dont know if he only has me around for the time being but i want marriage later on in the years. My gf and I had a preemie in July and were able to bring the baby home in August. My gf was up and about a week after giving birth but now that the baby home all she does is sleep. I'm at work all day and when i come home i help with the baby. i had expected her to tidy up around the house but now expect nothing except for her to take care of the baby. So her only responsiblity is to make sure that the baby is taken care of in all aspects. (ie: food, clothing, bathing, diapers). I come home and make her dinner, vacum, clean house, clean kitchen (she helps clean the kitches sometimes) and help out with the baby. Am i out of line to be upset if the baby runs out of diapers, low on wipes, she leaves me with not enough milk to feed him while shes gone, she yelled at the baby to shut up cause he was crying and she was tired (only once)?????????? I know that taking care of the baby alone is a HUGE job and do give credit for it.

We filed bankruptcy last year. My spouse wanted to keep a credit card so he didnt include it. Now it is maxed out and they are charging ungodly interest. What are our options? Can we just say we forgot about it? OR just not pay it. What would happen. Our credit is already bad.
