Yea, the new Elmo will be big, as well as the Playstation 3
As always, I think that Apple products will be hot again (iPods, laptops, etc...) Board games have also been pretty popular in the past year or two. I know all of my relatives are obsessed with the game Blokus (I am too), Catch Phrase, Phase 10, etc... Board games are nice to have for small groups, parties, etc...

For young kids, that stupid new elmo toy. For older kids... electronics of some kind, whether it be iPod, game station (playstation, xbox, nintendo, etc), and so on.
