when we r flying in aircraft, some times we have some ear problem, what was that & why?

My husband and I have just started writing a novel. We've written a prologue and 2 chapters, plus summaries for another 2. We're definately going to look at getting it published, though we're not sure if it'll take off. They're mostly his ideas, I just put them into a story form and make it sound really good. can we call ourselves 'writers' yet? Or do we have to wait for it to be published before we are true authors?

So every day clever folks show up in here going "Prove there's a god!" or "Prove there's not a god!"

Here's why this is weird to me. I believe what I believe, and I don't need anyone sle to prove it wrong or right, and I don't need to prove it to anyone. I'd imagine the majority of people are the same way.

So this question is twofold...

Why would you (this is the hypothetical you, not "THEY would do this", this is you) ask someone to prove your beliefs wrong or right?

If someone asked you to prove your beliefs, what would you do?

Oh My God! The other day my husband and I were eating at a restaurant and we had my daughter at the end of the table in a high chair. She is 18 months old by the way. Anyway, the waitress wouldn't stop touching my daughter and playing with her. We couldn't eat comfortably for the entire meal. We finally decided to move my daughter to the farthest end of the table that way she couldn't get to her and maybe she would get the picture, but nope she didn't. She moved the other table and chairs to get across to my daughter. She kept asking kisses from my daughter and almost came close to actually kissing her at one point. It was very annoying. What would you have done?

My dog is about 10years old, and lately( for a couple months) all he does is stay under a bed all day. He used to always be out around me and people, but now he just goes under the bed. He seems to be healthy except for always scratching, but I am afraid he might be dieng or something since of the bed thing.

I must sound like a complete idiot on the phone. Im going through interviews now for a new job. I land phone interviews easy but never seal the deal!!!! I did 12 so far! Hi, OK so yesterday I was home alone because my mom was out of town and some of my friends came over. They were a little buzzed and they brought a 5 gal. bucket of homebrew with them. It was tied with one of my pillow cases (I have no idea how they got it) Anyways, they opened it up and started drinking it with my moms good wine glasses. I told them to stop it and not to drink in my house. There was about 7 drunk kids in my house and I told them to leave. Then I moved through them and was like "Goddamn you ******* drunks" and my good friend Tracey was like "WHAT?!" then she shoved me and I said "don't push me" but she said she could push me if she wants. Then I slapped her as hard as I could...which was the worst thing I could have done! All of a sudden we both were rolling around on the floor punching and pulling eachothers hair...you know...catfight...anyways. Everyone broke us apart and she was all up in my face yelling at me to hit her again. I kept saying no then she slapped me

I know my dogs had souls. Why would humans be the only life form to have a soul? That makes no sense.

So if all life has a soul, do all the souls of all living creatures get to go to heaven?

How would God decide this tree is worthy of heaven and that one condemned to hell?

i go to church like once or twice a year. i go to pray and listen to the preacher speak. i dress nice and not casual, and i do not see any kind of socialization there. i go to a catholic church. my question is, when people ask on answers about " where is a good place to go and meet women?" when i read some responses, they all include churches. i want to know how in the world is a church a good place to meet women? i mean when you go to church, you know for sure it is a sin to sleep with women before marriage. most men look for women mainly for sex, not marraige. i just want someone to explain why the church is a good place to meet women?

Well I do them a lot and I find that if you have stronger abs they're a lot easier to do. I tried doing them over a year ago, and it just didn't work for me. Then I got onto a regular working-out regime and started doing them regularly again, and it was easier. BUT then a guy told me that they don't help with your abs, but work your hip-flexors. Which one is it? Or is it both?
