i think they help. For the most part they lower the cost of produce and other mass produced products. They also spend money here and dont get a lot of tax benefits. Most will not abuse the welfare system, even if they have a child here, you may not be able to deport the child, but you can deport the father or someone else they live with. They dont want to rock the boat.

it is fake. California's government loses $10 billion a year from undocumented workers via fact their taxes do no longer offset theri coaching, wellbeing care and incarceration. the thought they do the low paying jobs is likewise fake. formerly the final housing growth, a dry waller could make $23 a hour. for the period of the housing growth drywallers have been paid $13 a hour. The undocumented workers went from agriculture to the homestead shape enterprise. some farmers introduced in farmers from Thailand, via fact the undomumented workers have been paid greater efficient someplace else. low value wages additionally do no longer decrease the fee, they only boost the revenue. it is very authentic for agriculture. A farmer that has oranges, sends the oranges to a packing homestead. Then the commodity substitute provides contracts to purchase those oranges. those contracts are created, bought and bought with the help of speculators. So the farmer is in basic terms certainly one of hundreds of farmers advertising oranges. the money is then divided up with the help of the countless packing residences and given to the farmers after the deal. it is the speculators that administration the fee, no longer the farmer or the undocumented worker. This is going for all agriculture products and definite, the farmers ought to finally end up advertising their produce for below it expenses to make it. in basic terms seem what the speculators did to grease expenses. Saudia Arabia pumps a barrel of oil at $a million a barrel and the U.S. pumps it at around $18 a barrel yet the two barrel get placed on the comparable commodity substitute. interior the housing sector, an undocumented worker could decrease the fee to construct a house, yet while the unique proprietor sells, the unique fee of the homestead has no impact on the hot fee of the homestead. the wealthy could have the money for to pay greater for his or her nannys, butlers and maids.

Yes our economy would survive because they may work here but they do not spend all of their money here. I see undocumented workers sending between 80 to 90 percent of their checks every week home via Western Union. In order not to spend money, they ride bikes rather than buy cars. In an average home you will see between 6 and 10 of them living there together all crowded up. They split all bills and rent amongst themselves inorder not to spend their money. All the jobs they hold, I know of other people that want them.

Yes, our economy would survive. It would take a hit. It would have to recover. But it would survive. If undocumented workers were more of a problem, there would be more effort expended to round them up and send them back from whence they came, and the borders would be stronger.

Complicated question.

There is one extreme that belivees that illegals are typing up American jobs. Another group believes that they serve a purpose indoing the jobs that nobody will take. Reality is likely somewhere in between.

SInce unemployment is at a very low rate right now, it is likely that dismissing illegals would leave a laor shortage and would be negative to the economy in cetain areas: farming, light manufacturing, etc....but the ecomony is bigger than that.
