No - it does not disprove a Creator Being / God. It is still just the THEORY of Evolution - but people on both sides of the "argument" seem to forget that or ignore that. If Evolution were 100% accurate we should all have lost our 'baby' toes by now... and some of us would have extra hands or arms to get more work done in a given day! ;-)
Why can't people accept the possibility of both co-existing and that all the details just aren't available yet? Isn't there enough animosity in the world?

Evolution on its own, doesn't disprove god, just parts of the bible. Combine what we've learned about the origins of the universe (the big bang), evolution, geology, and archeology, and then you've got quite a bit of evidence that makes the god-belief even less credible. Of course, you'll always have the faithful attempting to reconcile fact with fiction...i.e. The Big Bang is actually just the scientific explanation of the creation story, or Adam and Eve were the first humans, but evolution occured before them and just wasn't mentioned...

"Not at all. The Bible disproves evolution. The Bible states several scientific things before men discovered them."
The bible was written BY MEN. Genesis says nothing about God laying down his word on paper and handing it to Adam. It didn't appear like magic from the sky - men compiled it and bound it together, taking out the parts they didn't like, and voila. 1611, the KJV was first printed. Did it occur to anyone that some of the things in the bible had already been discovered, which the bible clearly contradicts? Bible says the earth is flat - by the 1600's they knew better. Bible says bats are birds - by the 1600's they knew better. It's a really good story, but that's all it is. I still cannot believe that some people think that a person can be made from clay and snorted on and come to life, but evolution is impossible. Wow. You people never cease to amaze me.

No. It disproves a literal reading of some passages in the bible, but that's about it.
For me studying evolution and any branch of science only serves to make God alot bigger than just some old guy with a long white beard and a toga who made the sun and earth and then pulled all the animals out of a top hat during a particularly busy week ten thousand years ago.

Evolution does not at all try to disprove God. God has done a fine job of disproving Himself!

It may diaprove semitic's tailo-made God
Hinduism believes fully in evolution (not necessary exactly like Darwin told).... as our scriptures say a human soul starts from chemicals...plants, animals and then reach human form after passing through 8.4 million different species.
In Ramayan there are many missing links (between apes and human)... who helped Lord Rama to win the war against demon Ravan
Evolution is a fact..and if some religions disapprove it, fault is their perfection not with evolution

It doesn't disprove God, if you believe that God worked through evolution.

Yes. I believe that if we have any real sense of the wonder of the world, and its history, we should have the good sense, and humility, to answer the questions we can, and leave aside what we cannot answer. How can a human pretend to know the mind of God, directly through personal revelation, or through an intermediary of any sort? That speaks a hubris beyond both belief, and contempt. Stick with provable "facts" (which are always up for review), and leave the rest for some time later. Only children want the answer to every question NOW

I don't at all think it disproves God. I think it's possible that God could have created us to evolve. I do not totally agree with every aspect of the theory of evolution, but it doesn't disprove God.

No I don't think that. I don't believe in god, and I do believe evolution provides a better explanation of the life we see around us.
But evolution doesn't disprove god....it disproves the biblical creation.
