A hillbilly from the mountains goes to the big city and decides to get a hotel room.

As he signs for the room, he puts an "X" in the blank for his name.

He starts to wak away. But before he leaves the lobby he goes back and puts a circle around the "X".

The desk clerk says, "I've seen plenty of folk from the mountains come down and sign with an "X". Why did you put a circle around it?"

The hillbilly answers, "You know, being in the big city and all. You can't be too safe. So I decided not to use my real name."

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The Department of Homeland Security has sent an advisory to the National Football League and local officials advising of a possible, uncorroborated bomb threat against some NFL stadiums.

The threat, posted on a Web site, alleges that dirty bombs could be used this weekend against seven stadiums -- in Miami, New York, Atlanta, Seattle, Houston, Oakland and Cleveland. The bombs were to be delivered by truck, the posting said.

Notice the first sentence of the second paragraph, that they don't give proof of the website? Do you think to prove this piece of news that CNN and the government should prove the source in which it came? Why didn't they post the website of the information in the first place?

The last Battlestar episode the Lucy Lawless cylon referred to a dog by its name. The dog's water bowl has been used to convey messages to the resistance. Could that dog be a nother cylon model? That would be a great twist wouldn't it? It makes sense because they can keep an eye on the resistance without being detected. Or am I putting too much thought into this?

First off- don't they teach some pretty good sex education these days-so that any young girl who thinks she may be pregnant would know how to go about determining if she is pregnant (geez- we had home pregnancy test back in my "old" days and we all could figure that much out).

I'm currently working on a Haydn concerto, and the trills are about to get the best of me! I've practiced by doing trills starting with fingers 1-2, 3-4, 4-5 then backdown going slow then speeding up. (The trills occur in the right hand w/ 16th note arppeggios in the left hand). I practice (w/ a metronome- slowly @ first) 2 trills per 16th note, 4 per 16th note, and so on). Does anyone have any other practice tips??? I struggled w/ trills during my last concerto, and darn it if I can't whip them this time. It's so frustrating!!! Any tips would be greatly appreciated!!
