WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The Department of Homeland Security has sent an advisory to the National Football League and local officials advising of a possible, uncorroborated bomb threat against some NFL stadiums.

The threat, posted on a Web site, alleges that dirty bombs could be used this weekend against seven stadiums -- in Miami, New York, Atlanta, Seattle, Houston, Oakland and Cleveland. The bombs were to be delivered by truck, the posting said.

Notice the first sentence of the second paragraph, that they don't give proof of the website? Do you think to prove this piece of news that CNN and the government should prove the source in which it came? Why didn't they post the website of the information in the first place?

Many people do know more than just one language, wouldn't it be much safer if the website would have been posted and translated by the many in other nations that have the know how to translate?

Yes, I saw it, and I believe it may be credible, but who knows? It could be the Republicans' attempt to scare us all over some perceived terrorist plot just before the upcoming elections in November. I don't know what to believe about the accuracy of it, but I know that I am, and always will be, vigilant to protect my family and my community.

No, they don't need to and should not have to prove things to anyone, Actually they would have shut the site down most likely or are tracing who owns and posted on it.

No one should give out any evidence in an on going criminal investigation.

People want and are given way to much evidence already. I often wonder how any investigation can be done with too much info given out.

I guess they are trying to mean Islamic Fundamentals. There is one thing I can see when it comes to terrorists, they have balls. They dont mind packing a small boat with explosives and sending it into the USS Cole. Or Hijacking 4 aeroplanes and sending them into the pentagon and world trade centre. Or packing a van with explosives and sending into the parking lot of the world trade centre, or Blowing up US and UK embassy's. But I dont think I have ever heard of them blowing up a K mart or a football stadium. I think this is done so as to help make average citizens feel threatened by the terrorists.

Many times, these threats are posted on foreign language websites which Americans would have no idea what they meant.
