What movie left such a mark on you that you were close to needing therapy?

American History X really f*cked me up in the head, like put me in such a thought process that I became nauseous. I knew that there are people out there like that, but to actually see it on screen really made it an actuality for me. But not to the point where I needed freaking therapy.

There's two; I watched them in the same month when I was six.
1. Psycho. To this day, I can't take a shower unless the door is locked, and two or three drawers are pulled out in front of it to prevent someone getting in by picking the lock. Even then, I feel nervous. (I still shower every day, though. Don't worry.)
2. Tommy, by The Who. It's about a deaf, dumb, and blind boy who is taken advantage of. It's the kind of movie that I imagine you can only really appreciate while high.
Scared me to death.

The first matrix movie and the truman show. Saw them when i was younger and started to wonder if i was in a reality show or in real life. Really messed me up for a while.
