As a new dance teacher, I am running out of creative ways to keep my young students motivated and engaged during stretching and other exercises. Although most of the kiddies enjoy it, one can only pretend to dance around as butterfies and hop like bunnies to a point. Right now I am looking for more ideas to keep my tiny-tots active and having fun!

One of the neighbors to my place of business wants us to put up a fence because he says the wind only blows from the west and our debris is getting in his yard. His construction debris is getting on our landscaping. He says thats impossible because, again, the wind only blows west. Someone tell me this guy is full of it.

For example, if it's low tide along the east coast of Australia, does that mean it is high tide along the west coast of New Zealand or USA? & vice versa.
Are tides really related to the gravitational pull of the moon?

Here's the scenario.
Me and this girl have liked each other for a few weeks now. Thing is, she has this friend John that is 3 years older (senior) . He has a history of hitting girls, treating them badly, and other bad things, but she is naiive to this and still hangs out with him. i try to ask her not to b/c i dont want her to get hurt but i think this is interferring because i know he wants to get with her. I don't know what to do about him and i want to know if you guys think i should handle this physically or just forget about both of them or another option

Thanks!

I went throught my first breakup and I'm 30 (I know...I'm a late bloomer.). I'm not handling it very well. I knew him for 2 years and I thought he really cared for me. I feel like every kind word he ever said was a lie now. In the end he was just "not into it" and he was a rude jerk at the end, too. Hurtful and very insensitive. Now I'm left with the feeling that nothing (an no one) is good in this world. Any positive outlook that I might have had about people and relationships is gone and that frightens me. How do I get that back? I am so terribly scarred, I think... I feel that this is a horrible world we live in. :-(

I haven't done anything with any of them, yet!, but if its only a matter of time, I just know it. I even tell my husband that I've gone to the bar with this 26yr old...what in God's name is wrong with me??? mid-life crisis? what??

My 4 year old is being bullied at school and home by our neighbors son. We tried talking to the parents about it and all they did was blow up on us and start cursing my fiance out in front of my child. (which scared him half to death) We've even tried talking to the school about it and all the teacher says is that we need to teach him "empowering words". We have tried everything...even to the point of telling our son to push him back and tell him to STOP IT! That just makes th kid even more angry and his parents aren't doing anything to stop him. They just sat there and laughed the other day as their son and a nother child started punching my son. Only after I started to come near the kids did they get up and do something. Does anyone have any ideas on how to make this stop or what we can do to help our son?

A husband and wife are traveling by car from Atlanta to New York.

After almost twenty-four hours on the road, they decide to stop at a nice hotel and take a room. They only plan to sleep for four hours and then get back on the road.

When they check out four hours later, the desk clerk hands them a bill for $350.

The man explodes and demands to know why the charge is so high. He tells the clerk although it's a nice hotel, the rooms certainly aren't worth $350.

When the clerk explains that $350 is the standard rate, the man insists on speaking to the manager.

The manager enters the conversation and explains that the hotel has an Olympic-sized pool and a huge conference center which were
available for the husband and wife to use. He also explains that they could have taken in one of the shows which the hotel is famous for.
"The best entertainers from New York, Hollywood and Las Vegas perform here," explains the manager.

No matter what facility the manager mentions, the man replies, "But we didn't use it!"

The manager is unmoved.

Eventually the man gives up and agrees to pay. He writes a check and hands it to the manager.

"But sir," the managers says, "this check is only made out for $100."

"That's right," replies the man. "I charged you $250 for sleeping with my wife."

"What! I didn't sleep with your wife!" exclaims the manager.

"Well," the man replies, "she was here, and you could have."
