On average, I'm drinking 3 Diet Cokes a day. We are living in tropics, seems nothing quenches the thirst as good as Coke :(

Flavored water tastes just like soda and won't hurt you a bit.....you need to get away from that devil, Aspartame......all the diet drinks have it and it is really bad for you do a search for it on the internet and you'll probably never touch another diet drink again.........

Fresh squeezed Lemonade.

3 lemons
3/4 cup sugar (more less to taste)
6 cups water.

Cutting board
knife
pitcher

Wash Lemons. Roll Lemons on Cutting board to loosen up the juices. Slice two lemons place in Pitcher. Squeeze the last lemon (either iwth a juicer or by hand) into the pitcher. Pour in the sugar let set for about a minute the Sugar helps to draw out the juices. And then I add about 1 cup of hot water, to disolve the sugar. And then Ice and water to make 6 cups. So Good!

Also Plain Water!

Sodas don't quench your thirst. They deceptively make you think you are quenching your thirst but they make you thirsty as soon as you finish one because they dehydrate you. They are a diuretic. Studies have also shown that they are very bad for your bones. Btw, regular Coke is healthier but you will be equally dehydrated from it.

Alternatives are water, tea, or juice which can even be in the form of smoothies or virgin frozen drinks.

Water, juice.
Coke only gives you the illusion of quenching your thirst - the two above actually do more to refill your body's requirements. Question of habit, I suppose.

My friend swears by this!

Try a cold, Pellegrino (or Perrier) over ice and add your favorite whole fruit juice. An instant Italian soda!

Sparkling water is pretty good, and if you don't like the flavor, you could mix in some fruit juice for taste.
