If my high school knowledge serves me right, confederate states stood for slavery, so why is that flag still flown? is there a union flag? my main question is, why is that flag still flown despite its history? and why rednecks?!

Here is my dilema:

I love electrical engineering, but that is extremely impractical and i wouldnt make enough to support a family, but i'd get to do what i love.

OR

I could be an artist and make millions doing something that i hate. Everyday getting up and making crappy art for the man.

I am 5months preg. and I think i have A UTI. But I' not sure because I've never had one before...Details: Blood is in my urine not my vagina. it doesn't burn or smell.....i plan to make a Dr. appointment in the morning but want to know all I can now.. Has anyone out there had this while preg?If so and I do have a UTI will the Dr. give me antibiotics and are they at all harmful to my baby? that is my main concern. any other helpful facts are welcome. Thanx in advance.

All I want to do is have some fun! How can I stop??
I am 36yrs old, been married for 11yrs and I have no idea why all of a sudden I'm actually asking the guys at work to go out and have a drink with me. I haven't done anything with any of them, yet!, but if its only a matter of time, I just know it. I even tell my husband that I've gone to the bar with this 26yr old...what in God's name is wrong with me??? mid-life crisis? what??

PCOS can cause depression and I'm trying to do this without medication. Dr. put me on medication due to depo provera injection causing me to feel down and having 1 suicidal thought but I am now on the pill and find I'm very irritable and cranky all the time more so now than before children. there's nothing in my life occurring that upsets me so I know it's just my hormones or something like that. I just feel like I'm going crazy when I have nothing to feel depressed and angry about.Can anyone provide any suggestions? Thank you.

Come on... You know it will be soon! Intelligent design is destined to the same trashcan where they threw Geocentrism and other theories. The church has retracted before, they know they have to or they will keep losing adherents!. We are at the verge of inmortality, with increasingly lifespans, afterlife is no longer a prize good enough to gather the masses. Maybe it is in poor countries, but Ratzinger Z seems to have more interest in europe. And in homophobia. I am 3 weeks pregnant and am having really really really bad cramping. My docor says that he thinks that i'm ok it's just my uterus and other things moving around and changing shape. It's like bad constipation but i'm not constipated. I realize that you cannot take a lot of things and especially later on in pregnancy. I'll take home remedy ideas, but if there are ANY pain meds out there for cramping... please please help me out. List them.
