i think that it is extremely hard 2 date sum1 that has a different religion 2 you... because u are both walking different paths in life and those paths cannot met... im a christian and i hav liked many non christians and one thing that ive always been told is... if you get whit chalk and scribble it on the board (u are the white) then get red and scribble it over the top (the red is the other person) you hav created a new colour... but thing is... the red shines through and the white does not... it is the same in relationships... the other persons religion is going to rub of onto you and that will only cause problems... i think it is much easier to find sum1 that shares the same faith as you... altho if you think that you can talk this person around... get them 2 go to things with you that are about u religion and see if they like it... but dont force them 2 change religions for you because it is also their choice... hope this help =) Good luck and God Bless

My boyfriend is Mormon and I am Baptist. We get along very well. We did go through this stage where we didn't know if you should break up or stay together. We talked to different people, from both religions, but in the end we decided to stay together. He isn't a strict Mormon and we basically believe in the same things. He said he will even go to my church with me. The only things we are worried about is the confusion that our children will face. But we decided that before we have our children one of us will change religions...and it's not going to be me! :oD

The religion of love is faith, affection, understanding and satisfaction for each other. So called religions by name, are just man made boundries.

if they are very different religions like islam and christianity then from what i've seen in my parent's friends... you are doomed. The issue of what religon your children will follow and what morals they will grow by will lead to a harsh divorce.

It depends on the religion. Say, if one believes in God and the other doesnt...I doubt if it's a good match.
