I am 3 weeks pregnant and am having really really really bad cramping. My docor says that he thinks that i'm ok it's just my uterus and other things moving around and changing shape. It's like bad constipation but i'm not constipated. I realize that you cannot take a lot of things and especially later on in pregnancy. I'll take home remedy ideas, but if there are ANY pain meds out there for cramping... please please help me out. List them.

I suggest you change doctors. You should not be feeling pain at this stage. Your uterus has not changed much in shape in only 3 weeks. You really should only be taking vitamins.

tylenol is safe to take, other than that try applying some heat. not a heating pad but maybe the rice packs. warm baths work for me. i'm 10+ weeks and i still have the cramping. sweetie, it may very well be constipation also. and for the nay sayers, i had my worst cramping at 2-5 weeks after conception, it wasnt until my 7th week that the intense cramping let up at all. its more than your uterus changing shape and stretching, its the embryo embedding himself further into your uterus lining, which can be pretty intense. good luck to you.

I took extra-strength tylenol for the cramping and used a heating pad on low, placing on my abdomen. I think that you can even take tylenol 3 with a Dr.'s prescription.

Tylenol is the only thing that you can safely take for pain. Anything else and you have to go to the doctor for a prescription.

This would be a question for your doctor. Most doctors won't let you take any pain medication because it goes into your baby.
I would try yoga, it worked for me.
