for these 3 reasons in order of importance

Allied forces were keeping them occupied at the front door while Russia snuck in the back door and removed the threat. Hey, Yank history even gives the Ruskies credit for that.

I don't understand your hostility. Russia was an alley until AFTER WWII. The Yanks did their part, the Brits did their part, The Aussies did their part, you get the idea. If it hadn't been for everyone working together The Ruskies would have never been able to pull off what they did. It was a joint effort. Don't you watch the History Channel?

You need to check out your history before you go blabbering like the village idiot.

The most complete computer simulation shows that Britin would have evetually won the air campaign against Germany. Russia did fight in the ground war, and suffered the heviest casualties. However, It would be more appropriate to sya that the Russian Winter inflicted the punch that changed the tide on the eastern front.

Yeah, Russia kicked Japan's A$S!

Oh wait, that's right, they didn't even start fighting Japan until 1945, weeks before the war was over.

And yeah, Russia did a lot in WWII, but they didn't win so much as they avoided losing thanks to German non-strategy and an early winter.

And I might add that the Russians did nothing but sit on their lazy butts while Nazi Germany conquered almost all of Europe, foolishly thinking they were safe because of a non-aggression pact.

could the claim arise out of the fact that the allies entered Berlin first. Seems to me russia made a pact with that devil along the way. We were all brain washed in school you included.

Their cold winters. The German solders couldn't sustain themselves and weakened, at which the Russians pushed back. They are also the reason what Japan surrendered, six weeks after the atomic bombs.

It doesn't matter, Russia enslaved the same people and killed twice as many, and enspired the nations that killed probably 100 million people, so you look like an idiot.
