I'm referring to a puppy (cocker spaniel) that my brother-n-law purchased from Sellersburg, Indiana, it recently died of parvovirus. She was diagnosed with parvo just two days after she was bought. The breeder claims she contracted the virus being on his truck since he's an over the road truck driver. Can this happen in just a short time? Or is she lying to cover her butt and not take any responibility? Can we sue her? Is she liable?

When men cheat we are thought of as no good a$$holes. When women cheat men did something in the relationship to make them do it. Just courious on how this works.

I care very deeply for my husband but I do not love him. He is faithful to me and I him,he still loves me very much, I educate my children at home and work full time also, I lost my parents last year within 2 months of each other and since then I feel so lost. I feel I do not belong here any more.I want to run away and leave everything. I feel I need someone else somtimes, someone who will take responsability over me, someone who will take care of me. Am I going crazy or is this the terrible 40/s setting in?

One day an elderly man decided that since he had never fathered any children that he would make a deposit to the local sperm bank. At the sperm bank a young doctor gave the man a jar and told him to go into the bathroom and put his deposit in it.

After what seemed like a long time the young doctor began to worry about the elderly man so he went to the bathroom door and knocked and ask if he was all right. No answer came from beyond the door so the doctor opened the door finding the elderly man breathing hard and sweating.

The Dr. asks, "Are you OK!"

The elderly man replied, "Son, it is not as easy as it use to be. I have slapped it, spit on it and beat it on the wall. I even ran hot water on it, I ran cold water on it and I can't get the lid off this jar to save my life!"

I just got my car back from the dealership from having some work done and an oil change and my tires rotated. They gave me the receipt that said that my brakes are 50% worn in the front and 70% worn in the rear. They haven't squeeled or anything but when I first got in my car it sounded like they were grinding a little but then it stopped so I figured it was from where they rotated the tires. Do you think if they are worn 50 and 70% they will last another month? My sister told me the pads are only about $60 or so, is this true?

I'm in second year in college. There are only 9 in the year.
I'm an only child, I live in the country. I'm not that outgoing. I was brought up with things like "respect your elders", and don't flip out with people. Because of these things I have a high tolerance of most people and issues (apart from racism and environmentalism). I have always gotten on with people older than me instead of people my own age.
The other 8 in my year don't seem to like me and even though I've tried my best , Idon't like them that much either. They all get on grand together.
I'm the only non-drinker and I don't smoke. I've never felt the urge to get drunk or to light up.
I love the cinema and going to my local pub. I'm not the nightclub type. I don't see the point when I don't drink. I'm not big into dancing infront of large crowds. I love being out with family and friends and having a chat and a bit of craic. I freel I'm being singled out because I have different values and priorities.

When I let my computer run for several days because I have open windows and stuff I have not yet time to consult seriously, eventually, it starts getting sluggish and programs no longer respond properly. At times it gets so bad I can't even turn it off and have to hit "reset". I suspect it's because cache memory and the like are becoming clogged. How do I prevent this without having to restart the computer?
