Nowadays we can only come up with an approximation, because the original togas were, I think, round or oval, and required an instrument (I think it was called a toga comb) and a human assistant to get the folds and the drape correct.
That said, I'd go with a big white sheet, begin at the waist, and end with it over the shoulder. If the sheet is large enough, you may even have sufficient material to drape over your head.
