keeping slim is simply to do with balancing calories..needed versus burned.
what you need to do is to work out how much energy you burn in a day ( a pedometer would be a good way if you dont excercise) coupled with how much you need to survive.. try http://www.healthonecares.com/HC_CalNeeded.asp
then simply balance what you eat.

EXERCISES AND EAT HEALTHY..........
that's what everyone will tell u, but that's not very true.
1. Most important is a heavy breakfast(anything u want). this wont make u fell hungry for quite some time.
2. have small portions of food(1/2 sandwich, fruits) after every 2-3 hours.
3. the most imp. is carry a bottle of water and keep sipping it and refill it. water drains all the waste, toxins and soluble fats.
remember to eat less at regular intervals and eat anything it can be a slice of pizza, half a burger, a portion of fries, half sandwich, fruits, yogurt etc.etc....
it will guaranteed show it result in no time and keep u healthy and if possible try avoiding junk. its not that it will make u gain weight but its not very good for ur body, but if there is no other option then go for it. cause its better to eat somethin then nothin.
if u need any more help jus mail ..........

I have exactly the same problem, i have absolutely no time to exercise and have gone from being very fir to unhealthy. I found the best thing to do is go for a 10 minute run at the end of a day as fast and far as you can, as often as you can. the fat will start to fall off and eventually you will start to feel healthier and not have to go as often!

One way always use to reduce weight is to only eat two portions of food that are cooked per day. The rest of the day you can eat what you want as long as it's raw. You have no choice but to eat more fruit and veg. Works for me but hard to stick to at social events.

excercise is one of the main things people like to conviently forget about. you need at least 30 mins of excerise a day (that means running, jogging or brisk walking - not snail walking) and eat at least 5 a day fruit and veg, take multi vitamins and drink 2 litres of water a day, for breakfast eat wheatabix with green milk , no biscuits, no sweets, no chocolate and no cakes, this is a good start anyway
