I'm in second year in college. There are only 9 in the year.
I'm an only child, I live in the country. I'm not that outgoing. I was brought up with things like "respect your elders", and don't flip out with people. Because of these things I have a high tolerance of most people and issues (apart from racism and environmentalism). I have always gotten on with people older than me instead of people my own age.
The other 8 in my year don't seem to like me and even though I've tried my best , Idon't like them that much either. They all get on grand together.
I'm the only non-drinker and I don't smoke. I've never felt the urge to get drunk or to light up.
I love the cinema and going to my local pub. I'm not the nightclub type. I don't see the point when I don't drink. I'm not big into dancing infront of large crowds. I love being out with family and friends and having a chat and a bit of craic. I freel I'm being singled out because I have different values and priorities.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those people who gets upset because someone doesn't like me. I'm just annoyed because I make an effort. I talk to them , give them notes that they've missed and talk about plans for the weekend but still nothing

You are awsome!! dont let the others get you down!
Those are the same morals that i grew up with and i am the same way. Dont change, hang out with the older crowd. It dosent really matter what others think as long as you are being true to yourself!!

I know a lot of people hang out with these crowds and they just don't drink and smoke, but they have fun in the conversation. As long as they know, then they won't ask and you can have fun watching those people the way they act. I used to get a kick out of their behavior.

I have found that no matter how hard you try, there are going to be people who simple don't like you. Try not to harp on it. Them they win. Just let it go.
