My gf and I met at work (a fairly nice restaurant) where she had worked since it opened, @ 4 yrs. I have been there for almost 2 yrs now. We both have other jobs, she has her degree, I am close to getting mine. I knew she was thinking about leaving and the other day I told her I was having thoughts of leaving, too. The very next day she just called in and quit (granted there was a little workplace drama re. her and me).

My other job is only part-time now, but it is going to be what I do once I'm done w/ school. Her job now is full time and she does alright, but it isn't what she wants to do (she has said as much). Our relationship is going well. I am just wondering why you think she quit. The decision wasn't spontaneous but the action was. I really want to know if she is now waiting for me to quit, too, or if she did it so I wouldn't have to just yet. With the holidays coming soon, I stand to make some good money if I stay. Suggestions?

I heard from a very reliable source that all of level 7 is trying to get rid of the lower level's. I also heard they were putting down everyone else. Just be on the lookout for all level 7 they are not to be trusted.

Some of the answers have been very informative. What we must understand with today's military, is that these kids are not dumb. If you volunteer for a mission and then the peramiters of that mission are not the ones you volunteered for, these kids won't volunteer or stay in when ETS comes up if they feel they were lied to on a regular basis. We volunteered for a mission where we were told that the shifts were to be 12 on 12 off, 3 days on 3 days off. Hundereds volunteered. When the actuall mission started ( CONUS, Non-Combat ) it became 24 on 24 off for 70 straight days. These kids knew this wasn't what they volunteered for and felt that it was a set up so our state would look good for the number of volunteers. There must be a reg that allows us NCO's to protect our soldiers from others trying to build their resume on my soldiers sweat. This mission may be the straw that breaks my units retention. Most of these soldiers were in Iraq with me and are not babies. Their men.

I am 28 years old. I have had 3 children. I had a miscarriage 2 years ago. And since then I have not been able to get pregnant. I hadd an ultrasound and all was fine. The doctor tested my hormone levels and all was fine. My periods are irregular now since the miscarriage as well when before they were every 28 days now they are between 24 and 28. I am pretty down right now because I have no idea whats going on.

I went for an ultrasound at 10pm at night at the emergency room at 12 weeks and the babu had hiccups but all was normal, I went on Tuesday and had a scan "It's a boy" and all looked beautiful they said, but the baby had hiccups again. So I was wondering is this normal to have hiccups so much? I didn't put the 2 together until last night.Any ideas or knowledge on the subject?

I'm 22, 138lbs, I've recently been working out a lot and have dropped 16lbs in the last month, completly changed my eating habits (for the best). My last period was on September 12th, and the only person that I've been with has had a vescetminy (or however you spell it). I'm not really stressed out. The other thing is that I'm also having increased discharge too. I usually have a 26 day cycle and this means that I am officially 5 days late now.

I was going to wait a little longer to talk to my ob/gyn because I have my yearly on November 8th and was going to just hold out going early. Should I go early, or take a HPT or is it true that dropping that much weight can make you "skip" a period?

Have you ever stand in a long line up at the cash register only to see some idiots in front of you insisting on using their debit and credit cards on small things under $10 or $5 like a pack of gum or a bottle of water. Each person doing this probably takes another 3-5 mins to the line up. I can understand if you are buying big ticket items but to use cards to buy a pack of gum, come on! There should be an express check out line for those paying cash, afterall the merchants make an additional 4-5% because they don't pay commission to the credit card companies.

From the responces for my last question I now wonder...How do I know if I'm doing things just to please him or if I honestly want to do them? Three weeks ago i got clear contacts & the first 2-3 days i saw really blurry, but by now i was seeing perfect. But i just got color ones & i'm seeing really blurry again. Will that go away in a few days too or is that not normal? Maybe they're in backwards but i cant tell because my clear ones have letters to make sure they're in right but my color ones dont. How can i tell if my color ones are in backwards? They told me that if they look like a bowl they're in right, but i dont see a difference no matter what way i flip them! Please help me!

I made 7 calls to these people 09.10 and my bill showing online they have charged for 21 calls 14 calls I didn't make.
