Next time try either one of these two "remedies"

1. When they begin to bother just pull out a small garbage can, pull down your pants and just go. Doing either #1 or #2 in the can in public will be enough to scare them away.

2. Buy a bag of gummy bears and spread them out on your desk. Make sure to name them after your co-workers. When they come within listening distance make sure to curse at the bears while continually stabbing them with a plastic knife.

People will think your crazy but they'll leave you alone.

Just do your job and keep ignoring them. If you do anything else, you will be feeding their needs. They will lose interest soon enough.

If they impede your ability to work, tell them. Say it clearly, "I need to get his work done, and you are keeping me from it." Speak it (don't yell) loud enough so that a few others might hear it. They are your witnesses. This should embarrass them enough to leave you alone. If not repeat it once or twice.

If they don't get the idea after two or three times, it is time for you to see your manager about it. Simply tell him/her that those individuals come talk to you about about non-work related topics, and you don't have time for it, and that you have asked them clearly to stop bothering you. Say other my have heard you ask them to leave.

If your boss does not take action, then you need to get yourself out of that position and into something else.

What bitches! I once called a coworker on her hurtful gossip about me that she said to another coworker. Needless to say, she denied up and down that she said it. But I confronted her in front of all our other coworkers. After everyone heard her bold face lie about not talking about me, they quit talking to her. Basically, she made them look like liars by denying the truth. She quit a month leader. If you can't ignore them anymore, confront them.

Some people create havoc and drama just to get attention

You probably did something to draw their attention, ask them if they have a problem with you. Or maybe you've been rude to one of them and they decided to make your life miserable. Find out what's happening.. and if reasoning doesn't work make fun of them and talk how they talk, imitate them, that ALWAYS ticks people off, it's childish and stupid, but if they hate you... Who cares what they think!! drive them insane heheheh

I guess you could always say, "Don't you people have any work to do? Here - I'll give you some of mine!" You won't believe how fast they'll go away!

Just continue to ignore them. They want you to react. You've got other better things to be thinking of.
