I'm assuming it's a telemarketing thing because when I picked up the phone, they told me that I'm elgible to lower all my credit cards' interest rate to 6.9% if my debt is at least $2,500. And it says to press 1 to speak with someone, or press 2 to be erased. I pressed 1 to and spoke with someone, he said he could lower ALL my credit cards interest rate to 6.9%, then he asked to "verify" my information... that's where I became susipicious.... What do you guys think? Are there such things?

I called one of my credit card companies and they said they don't have such affliation... and that it might be an outside markerter telecompany or some sort... should I believe this "promotion" or it's impossible?!

Is it me or does it seem like people don't care anymore. I'm young but in my few years on this earth, it has changed alot. Since the divorce and STD rates are high and it seems like no one is in the long haul. Whatever happened to opening doors, pulling out chairs, holding hand, long kisses and politeness. If you have a film in avi or mpeg format of about 700mb, what is the best way of making that into a playable dvd? I use nero7 demo, but it takes an age to "Transcode" the video and sometimes the results are unstable on a dvd player.
In simple terms, how do i create "iso" files from avi and mpeg files?? Is it best to make a dvd using iso?? Please help! I'm not very computer orientated, so, please be simple and clear in explanations.. Many thanks...

My X keeps telling our child that the money is to go directly to him and that it should not be spent on bills or food. Henseforth he should not have to come to his dad for anything else because he has already paid his support money. When our child is visiting with his dad- he has to beg for a haircut, lunch money, school clothes, money for xtra curriculum activities. It's stressing my child out. I need to be able to explain this to my kid.

I been having difficult breathing because my septum and I am going to get septoplasty on it as soon as my health insurance kicks in. I want to also get my nose straighten due to a past injury I recieved couple years ago.

My question is can the ENT my primary care physician refers me to be able to perform septoplasty and also striaghten the nasal bone?
