I used to hear radio commercials for dealerships (namely Hyundai and Kia) who offered a minimum trade-in value for used cars (usually $3,000). I don't listen to the radio any more, and I can't remember who offered this. I need a dealership in the Dallas/Ft Worth area who will guarantee a $3,000 minimum trade-in on an old car.

I have a teenage student with autism and who is ambidextrous. I am working with him on his fine motor skills. My question is ….are there any resources out there for teaching students who have no left/right handed dominance to write? I want to know if I should make him pick a writing hand and stick with it. If I let him switch hands as often as he wants to, I'm uncertain that the writing practice is actually getting stuck in his motor memory. Thanks.

My friend tried to kill himself. He's in the hospital. Just found out now. I want to go see him but under circumstances can't. ( he and I are in culinary school) In school everyone was whispering and all that crap. then I heard one of our school mate talking to another about him ( sucide friend ) She was saying that he is selfish, and was a cry for help or something like that. How can they say that. He's depressed and he almost died and all they can talk about was that he is a psycho and that I should stay away from him for he can hurt me. Why the **** do they have to gossip and all that crap. I found out this morning, but don't know anything. He's my friend. I hate them

At least you can be almost certain of getting a free meal in pretty much any town in the western world if you to a Christian church and pretend to them you think there's a God. Anyone ever get a Sunday roast from a Satanist?

My daughter is reading this book for her Lit&Comp class. She's read excerpts to me. It's my opinion that Richard Wright was an early version of James Frey in that, he can tell a good story, but it smacks of embellishment.
He wrote it in 1945, giving a 37 yrs old man's insight into what he "experienced" as a boy.
I went thru some serious stuff as a kid, but I surely don't recall them as clearly as Wright does his own.
Anybody care to weigh in on this?
