is their any one else out there with the same problem. i take the baking soda because of heartburn and if i dont have any baking soda in the house i will go crazy.

That's my grandma's home remedy!!! If it works and keeps the reflux at bay. Stay at it.

You got some good advice, though about calling a doctor. Reflux--or chronic heartburn--can be serious.

Baking Soda is the only one which is used in cooking food so the Eating Soda and Baking Soda are same

You really should see your doctor. If the baking soda works keep using it but remember there are other meds that may be more effective. Your dr can do tests to be sure there isn't a problem more than normal heartburn.

I agree with "wild&free". If you require an antacid after every meal, the problem may be more than simple heartburn i.e. indigestion. This is also a symptom of more serious conditions. I'm not suggesting that this is dire -- it could be just acid reflux which is very treatable -- but I suggest you see your health care provider and have this evaluated.

You probably have acid reflux disease and should see your doctor for a prescription.

i did that for a while but i found papaya enzymes at the health food store and boy does it work a lot better and tastes better too.
