We die when it's our time to go. That's how it's meant to be. We never know when that will be. For most people it will be in old age. That's the cycle of life. You are born, you live for a time & you die. Not just people, but all life, all creatures go through this cycle. Just as seasons change. The leaves are red & gold now, a sign that they're on their way out & winter is approaching (a few flurries where I am today actually!) It may be sad and hard to let go but that's the way it is. Not deep, just fact. If no one ever got any older or died then there would be no room for new life & new people in the world. Besides we may tire of this life after 100 years & just want to rest. Heaven awaits.

there isn't enough space or time for truly deep answers. besides only GOD knows the deeper levels. A spririt takes birth to experience certain events all designed for growth of spiritual awareness, when this is done he leaves this level of awareness. A natal chart done with date, time, and place of birth and with a past life report will tell you why you are here, but I doubt your astrologer will reveal to you your time of death. I have heard that the time of death is set at the time of birth. I use astrology.com

how about an anecdote!--i was working in a nursing home and there was a couple that lived there in the same room. They had been married 43 years and every night he would kiss his wife goodnight. after about a year working there the husband died. The wifes heath began to deteroriate quickly and she would never sleep. We tried everything to no avail. One night i was doing my rounds and stopped in on the wife sitting up in bed and staring out the window. i laid her down and i subconciously kissed her forhead and told her goodnight, and she cried for a min and drifted to sleep and peacefully died.----some people are connected to others on the deepest of levels.i know all that time she just needed a kiss goodnight.

Because when God created us, he determined how long a person should live. Most of the majority of the people live to be old age and die in their sleep while others die because of some disease. Others die too young because of some tragedy. So, it depends.

Being one that believes in the creation account I also believe we are here for a set number of days to do a specific thing.
Once we have fulfilled our earthly purpose it is time to move to the next level of life.
That's just my thoughts on the matter.
