I'm have a seriously low self-esteem, but what i don't understand is that deep down i know there is no real reason for this. I mainly panic when I have to talk to people (anyone i don't know really well) I feel like they're just thinking what an idiot i am, and despite being told frequently that i'm good at talking to people and that I come accross well, i don't beleive it and just feel like everyone is laughing at me and just get so flustered and paniced. In public i feel like everyone is staring at me because i'm ugly, which again deep down I know is totally untrue (I only know this is untrue because i was scouted by 2 model agencies...but somewhere inside i also feel like they were just taking the piss). How can i have such a low self image of myself when my rational side tells me there is no reason at all for this? It's stopping me from doing things i need to do (like getting a job) and I rarely go out in public because i feel so paranoid.

A person where I work was told at the immigration office, she could wait until the day her work permit ran out to get a new one. She agreed she'd come in that day (in November) to renew. Now she has to go on a business trip and can't. She tried to renew her work permit quickly (which they said she could do earlier), and she was told the rules changed in September and it would take a long time. She doesn't have a long time! She did all the right things, and now finds herself just a month away from no work permit. Is there someone to contact for such things? She is a great worker, a scientist in a "green" company.

Do they mean it is a physical turn on as in making them wet and aroused.Do they mean the shoes look sexy so they feel sexy, but not sexually aroused. Or do they mean that men find them sexy. They smell fine until they get damp again. I have used vinegar, oxyclean, lemon extract, dishsoap, and soda in the washer and they smell fresh at first and then after the first use they smell "sour".

I am in love or lust. Is he too?
think someone at school may really like me as I do them but am unsure of the signs. The situation is complicated a little by me being Gay. To me whether he is Gay or Straight is irrelevant as the signs of someone fancying you should be the same more or less. What things should I look out for?
He has subtly touched me on the elbow, and body before. I was talking and gently grabbed my elbow. He did not want my attention so what did he do it for?

I have a Kimball upright piano..its older but in GREAT condition....I am moving and cant take it with me..plus I never play anymore and it needs to be used. I was going to post it on Ebay...but that is way to expensive to get an account started...plus they get a percentage of what you sell it for and I am kinda tight on money..I bought this piano for $2,000 from a church when I was 12 years old..I am 18 now and only want $500 dollars for it...any suggestions on where I could post it to sell it? move to another group in class since my group is very noninformative about the group assignment and likes to talk about other things than the group assignment that we do not turn in. The teacher put the class in groups. I know of a group that have at least two good acquantance already though. One of the guy in the group that I know of is very informative about any subject. so I am thinking about secretly switching to that same group. If the teacher says anything about my new switched group, I'll just tell the teacher about my old slacker group and I'm sure my teacher would understand. The teacher wants the group to work. I'm in college and I do not think the teacher is strict about the group seating.

So, do you think it is okay to switch groups without teacher's permission?

Hi All,
Whats a nice thoughtful present to get a girl for Christmas who I am very close to but she is married. Shes in her 20s and i want to get her something personal and almost romantic (but not in that way if you see what i mean). Something that she will appreciate is from the heart and that i still think about her!
Perfumes are so overdone and a weekend away treat would be nice but expensive and rather inappropriate. Help appreciated guys and gals!

My mom was born and raised in Scotland and still maintains her Scottish Citzenship (she does not have an American Passport). I was born August 26 1982 in the US, and I have read that I cannot become a UK citizen because it cannot be passed through my mother since I was born before 1983. Is there anything I can do?

Note: I have read somewhere that I may be able to still get dual citizenship, but I have not been able to find that information again.
