Could it possibly be that the explaination for all this tough guy, go to Iraq and spread democracy, kill the evil ones, straighten out the bad guys is just as stupid as it seems? Is this really possible? Please tell me how it is possible, if it is possible. Or were Rummy, Cheney, Bush, Rove, Rice, Wolf, Mouse all living under a stone in the backyard during the Vietnam War and after?
Or is there a master plan that I am just missing?
Is 2740+ American Troops dead and tens of thousands of severely wounded troops worth fighting our way into a stalemate? Not to mention 100,000 dead Iragi and maybe many more than that number. Is it worth killing that many civilians for a stalemate? How could it be worth it? What is the master plan? Is this really just for oil, and we are not giving up without controlling the oil?

Since the late 70's extremist muslims have attacked America and her allies. Since then they continued to kill the inocent on jetliners and public transportation. Then in the mid 90's they increased their attacks with no opposition. Finally we have responded to save our lives and our country. I have a 4 year old shih-tese, and he actually eats rocks, I know because he threw up about six of them a couple of days ago. I couldn't believe how big they were. When I see him chewing, when he is out side I scold him, but it doesn't seem to help he's still eating them, what can I do???? He has already broken several of his front teeth out.

1 Corinthians 14:33-35 states, "...As in all the congregations of the saints, women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church."

This is New Testament scripture (not Old Testament) so it falls within the new covenant.

How do you interpret this passage in your Church?

Does your Church permit women to teach, lead singing, preach, fill leadership roles, pass the Lord's Supper?

If so, how do you square it with Paul's guidance?

I believe this is a legitimate issue about which many Churches struggle today.

I'm going to bid on a condo. The bathroom needs a new floor (in my opinion) because it looks like there may have been some water damage. Maybe even the subfloor needs replacing. I won't know until I get the old tile up. Anyway, my question is this...since I'm going to need the seller to pay closing costs (which could be as much as $4000) how much can I reasonably bid under the list price? Or since I'm asking them to pay closing, should I consider that as a discount on the list price?

i care a lot about my girlfriend. it doesn't bother me that she is a littlle overweight- i like her the way she is. but what bothers is that she has a really weird relationship with food. she admits that she eats too much, and even when she isn't hungry. i can't leave her alone in my apartment without returning to find that she a lot of my food, and since i'm a college student, i don't have much money. she is not bulimic. her eating too much and not taking care of herself makes me somewhat sick and unattracted to her. i don't mean to be a dick but what is asttractive about a person who puts all this junk constantly into their body for no reason but boredom? i don't want to be sexual with her bc i'm not attracted anymore but i do love her. what should i do?

So if I like boy, instead of talking to him and making him pay attention to me all the time, I should focus more on myself and be 'selfish', so indirectly I would show him what kind of focused person I am? i still used to pary when I was menstruating. I will bathe myself in tumeric water for cleansing before bathing. I just felt that this is given to me by God. I never asked for myself to menstruate. So why can't I worship God when Its that time of the month?
