I lost my bet so I can't wear anything under my graduation robe this year. My friend Jessica comes right after me in alphabetical order, so she says when she's behind me, if I'm not wearing anything she'll make sure I'm standing on stage "like a jaybird" when I get my diploma. What the hell does that mean???

I would wear something (maybe a tank and shorts) because that means she's gonna rip off your gown and expose you i.e. you will be as naked as a jaybird (smiley face boxers would be funny)

She intends to grab your gown and rip it off you. Then you will be standing there and everyone will see you naked. I suggest a pair of shorts at least. You might not get your diploma otherwise and she will get esorted off the stage without her's for doing it.
A very stupid idea. Also if they are really mad they could file indecent exposure charges.

maybe shes going to loosen all the seams in your gown and then step on it as you go up on stage ripping it off leaving you naked and humiliated.
