A lawyer would laugh at anyone who would mention such a thing...

Anyone can file a lawsuit for anything. Whether they might win or not is another matter. I'm not sure what lawyer would take that case.

I would suggest you scrape together your evidence of the harassment they did to you that caused you to cuss them out. However, putting something like that in writing is always a no-no in the cya book. (cover your azz).

You don't need a threat to be charged with harassment. Depending on what was said, I really don't think one text message could get you in trouble. If you sent several text messages with offensive, defamatory language or you continue to send or say anything more, then it could be constituted as harassment. Is it worth it though? Just let the issue go and move on with your life.

yes u can file a lawsuit...ppl in jail file lawsuits all the time for retarded reasons like the twinky they were given was squished...clog up the courts and slow the judicial proces considerably. but anyways, i seriously doubt anything will come of it, theres no point of any lawsuit for something that minor. no judge would rule against u

Yes.. It doesn't have to be a threat for the person to be threatened. harassing someone is calling them, texting them 3rd parties etc. it doesnt matter. I would not call them or anything if they said they are going to do that.

Using abusive language toward another person is uncool, but that's not what you asked. It depends on exactly how you communicated it. If he/she is the only one who saw the message, he can't win a suit for libel against you. If you showed or sent it to anybody else -- posted it to a whole Internet group, for instance -- he has you by the short-and-curlies...it IS libel, and actionable.

If he printed the message out and showed it to somebody, that doesn't count. In that case he is responsible for disseminating it and you are blameless.

Technecley harassment is not just one text ,call, letter,or conversation . If it was only one text I dont think that a lawsuit would hold in court .

See a lawyer and get a restraining order positioned on her. If she violates the order, she would be in a position to be fined or sent to penal complex.human beings like this are cowards and bullies.you do no longer want a individual like that throughout your existence or on your infant's existence.Congratulations and might all pass properly with the baby whilst she or he arrives.

i don't think so, you are just expressing your opinion, and even if they file a lawsuit, no court will take it on, as it is a direct violation of the first amendment (Freedom of speech, religion, press, petition...).
