I have a 4 yr old Phillips HDTV. When I purchased it I was told it can play 480p, 720p and 1080i. In the back of the TV I have 2 HDTV input slots. One is a component slot and the other is a VGA slot. After going to Best Buy today and looking at the Blu Ray dvd players (very impressive) I was told that they only produce 1080i through the HDMI cable. Is there any way I can get a converter or a plug to plug adapter for my tv to get this to work? The man working there told me that component and VGA do not support 1080i. I have personnaly hooked up my computer to my tv (via the VGA port) and it said 1080i in the corner. So my second question is do component and vga support 1080i?

I just moved across the country with my boyfriend so I don't have any friends in the area yet. Drinking doesn't go so well with he and I and we aren't much into the bar scene. My birthday is on Thursday, the 12th and I don't know what to do. We don't have very much money to spend and eating out is not an option.

Anyone have any ideas?? We live in Riverside, California which is inbetween San Diego and Los Angeles.

I am about to turn 19, so I am still very young. (not too young for white hair, I know that) but I am at a healthy weight for my height, take good care of myself, eat right, and get enough sleep. Prematurely gray/white hair does not run in my family on either side. I have been under a ton of stress lately and noticed about 8 or so white hairs growing - I plucked them out. I noticed the white hairs are MUCH thicker than my normal dark brown hair. Any ideas? Could I have a chemical imbalance?

Till the 15th centuary the Earth was supposed to be flat and upholded by the Church and many scientist who argued against the notion then were enlightened by thr Roman Catholic Church by the stake and other such measures.
In modern times evolution as a concept has been discovered and it is supported by tonnes of facts.But christians are arguing that the proofs are inconclusive and Evolution is lies.
So my question is that are the evidences and facts which support evolution inconclusive and not as clear and apparent as our earth being round?

2 years after leaving my husband, whom I have 2 children with, he told me that he and my bestfriend had sex twice during our relationship. I have run into the problem that trying to do a straight copy of the windows directory from drive c: to drive e:, so that I may switch drives (making what is now the e: drive the ci: drive and vice versa) and reboot using my larger drive as my system drive. I have effecively run out of space for windows on the smaller drive and need to port everything to the larger drive. There are files that windows will not allow me to copy because they are in use while I attempt to do this, so I am trying to use cmd.exe to effect this, but have forgotten how to do this as I have not used DOS in several years. anybody's insight on this would be greatly appreciated.
